Hi there! 

Our love for candles began long before our brand did. To us, candles are more than just a scent — they create atmosphere, bring warmth into a space, and turn everyday moments at home into something a little more special.

In 2020, during Melbourne’s COVID-19 lockdowns, we found ourselves spending more time at home than ever before. What started as a small creative hobby quickly became a source of comfort during uncertain times. We began hand-pouring candles for ourselves, then gifting them to friends and family we couldn’t see — a simple way to stay connected and bring a sense of calm to long days of isolation. From that moment, Maple & Ivory was born.

Today, we continue to create each candle with the same care and intention. All of our candles are hand-poured in small batches using carefully selected ingredients that are better for you and the environment. We proudly source all of our supplies from local Australian businesses, supporting our community while ensuring the highest quality in every jar.

Every Maple & Ivory candle is made with love, patience, and attention to detail. From the first pour to the final label, our goal is to create candles you’ll truly enjoy — ones that fill your home with warmth, beauty, and a sense of calm.
