Candle Care

When it comes to your candles, there a few things to remember to make sure you get the absolutely best burn out of each candle.

  • When lighting your candle for the first time, please allow the candle to burn for two to three hours, or until the pool of wax extends to the edge of the jar. This will help set the memory of the candle and help prevent any tunnelling in the future.
  • Before each burn, trim the wax to 5mm and remove any debris. This will prevent large flames, soot, or black smoke from forming.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles before leaving a room or falling asleep.
  • Always burn candles on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Avoid lighting candles in a place with a draught.
  • If possible, use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.
  • Discontinue the use of a candle when there is approximately 5mm left of wax or if jar is cracked or damaged.
